Thrifting is by far one of my favorite pastimes and my idea of "going shopping." There is nothing like sifting through items to stumble upon the perfect aqua blue pair of pants, beautiful silk blouse, or crazy fun print. During my trip in Paris I was able to add a few new unique pieces to my wardrobe from a few places around the city. One of the most interesting places to thrift was the largest annual market The Salon Emmaüs: Achetez Solidaire. You can find a variety of the best china, antique furniture, trinkets, and vintage clothing from vendors all over France. If you happen to be abroad in June, I highly recommend attending this event. The second great place to venture to is the Kilo-Shop Paris le Marais for those who want to be immersed in a fun shopping environment and find one-of-a-kind pieces that you pay for by the pound. And the final place I thoroughly enjoyed was the Bis Boutique Solidaire that gave you the experience of shopping in a high-end boutique but with inexpensive and unique pieces. Thrifting abroad is an even more exhilarating experience than thrifting in the States.
