When we remove all of the additional barriers to people or things, we are left with the essence of these objects. These can be some of the most intriguing and authentic parts. They can show us who people honestly are and understand the importance of simplicity. On the blog this week, we will be delving into ideas of minimalism, stepping out from behind our layers, and exploring our authentic selves.
You may be thinking to yourself, what is the importance of minimalism? It’s all about breaking things down to the bare minimum, to their essence. When we do this, we get rid of the facade and the fluff that clouds our minds. Then we are able to experience things and people with a genuine perspective. We begin to look past the surface and shed a light on what’s beneath these layers.
Uncovering the parts of ourselves and others that are hidden deep within us is an ongoing process. As we explore our inner thoughts and feelings, we better understand ourselves and those around us.
If your case of the Monday blues is in full force, focus on shedding your layers this week to discover more of your authentic self. I challenge you to embark on this journey with me.
