For my birthday, last month, my partner Kris and I took a day trip to Caen, Normandy (Northwest France.) One of my favorite modes of transportation is the train and it was such a scenic ride to this quaint feeling town. We didn't make it down to the beach of the "Battle of Normandy" but exploring this historic community was a relaxing experience and a nice break from Paris. One of my favorite parts of this trip was indulging in a delicious Crêperie that tantalized our tastebuds and left us quite content before our travels back to the city.
